Tuna Steak with Green Beans

Trying to reduce your red meat intake? Switch out your regular steak with a tuna steak! You won’t be disappointed.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tuna steaks (Wildfork)

  • 1 bag of green beans

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • Salt, pepper, garlic powder and to taste

  • Soy sauce and wasabi sauce for garnishment

    Psst: Make sure your wasabi sauce do NOT contain the color additive Blue-1.

Instructions:

  1. Heat a non-stick or cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add a little more olive oil if needed to prevent sticking.

  2. Once the pan is hot, place the tuna steaks in the pan. Sear for about 1-2 minutes on each side for rare to medium-rare. Adjust the time based on your preferred level of doneness. (The steak should be slightly seared on the outside but still pink in the middle).

  3. Bring a saucepan of water to boil. Cook the green beans for about 5 minutses
